The Pendleton School District has completed a year-long Long-Range Facilities Planning process that involved a 22-member committee composed of PSD staff, Board members and community members. The PSD Board of Education identified Long-Range Facilities Planning as one of its three goals in 2011-2012. The goal was for the District to develop a comprehensive long-range facilities plan to prepare for the future of Pendleton schools.Through a variety of reports, studies and analysis, the LRFP committee formulated recommendations for improvements to all buildings in the PSD, and these recommendations and the Long-Range Facility Plan was adopted by the Board of Education in May 2012. The Board of Education has directed the District to ask voters to consider a General Obligation Bond in November 2013 to fund some of these facility recommendations.
