Schools prepare for student registration

The summer sun may still be blazing hot, but school is right around the corner for students in the Pendleton School District. That means registration time.

At the elementary school level, only new students need to register for the 2012-2013 school year. Parents may register their elementary students new to the district at their respective schools on Aug. 20 and 21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All middle and high school students must register for the upcoming school year. Students are asked to please come prepared with cash or check to pay student fees, and to bring pertinent contact/emergency information.

The registration schedule for middle and high school is as follows:

Sunridge Middle School:
Aug. 21, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. & 5-7 p.m. – students with last names beginning with A-M

Aug. 22, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. & 5-7 p.m. – students with last names beginning with N-Z

Aug. 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Registration for students unable to register on their assigned day

Pendleton High School:
Aug. 28, 29, 30 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-7:30 p.m. – all students
