Everyone’s heard of a haunted house. But how about a haunted… farm lab?

The Pendleton High School FFA chapter invites the community to a unique experience at the FFA Land Lab. Around 35 FFA students and several parents have created a scary adventure inside the Land Lab, which will be open to the community from 7-10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 26-27), and from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 28), as well as on Halloween (Oct. 31) from 6-10 p.m.

“This is the first time we have done the haunted land lab, so it is exciting to be able to do something for the community,” said Patty Abell, FFA advisor at PHS. Abell said parent, staff and students have contributed time and decorations for the event.

Cost to enter the haunted farm lab is $5 per person. Groups of more than four people are $20, plus $2 for each extra person.

The FFA Land Lab is located on Southwest 28th Drive. From Southgate, turn onto Southwest Hailey Avenue (the signal by Burger King) to go up the hill past the old Forest Service building. Continue on Southwest Hailey Avenue, and then turn right on Southwest 28th Drive and go up the hill. Stay to the left. At the bottom of the hill is a gate entrance to the Land Lab.
