Pendleton Staff in the Spotlight - May 2017

The district is pleased to announce the May 2017 Staff in the Spotlight recipients. Every month, each of our schools honors a staff member at their building for going above and beyond their regular duties or for doing something special. Join us in celebrating these outstanding employees!

photo: Melissa Monkman PELC Melissa Monkman is such a positive force in our school. She knows each student & is full of wonderful ideas to help our students be successful. She provides science activities for our students and was instrumental with our Family Reading Night.
photo: Tanna Alford McKay Tanna Alford is recognized for her HARD WORK! Tanna consistently goes above and beyond her duties, seeing a need and filling in, always with a smile. She is thoughtful and caring to staff and students and has a wonderful smile that makes every day great. Her positive attitude and graciousness make our school a GREAT place to work!

photo: Kimbra Cook Washington Kimbra Cook always has a smile on her face and treats all students and staff respectfully and positively. She always sees the glass half full and works daily on building relationships with our more challenging students.
photo: Nichole Erwin Sunridge Middle School Nichole Erwin is being celebrated for the humor and lightheartedness she brings to the school. She makes students comfortable and brings smiles and laughter to all.

photo: Curt Thompson Hawthorne Alternative School Curt Thompson is celebrated for always being positive and upbeat, even in the toughest of situations.  He works hard to maintain quality CTE programs, establishing and maintaining community partners and providing opportunities for all students.
